There's something undeniably captivating about the "old money" aesthetic. It evokes a sense of timeless elegance, effortless sophistication, and a touch of quiet luxury. We had the pleasure of collaborating with a dream team of vendors to create a styled shoot that perfectly captured this essence.
Urban Daisy provided the ideal backdrop for our vision. Its stunning Large Open White space, with its modern lines, transformed into a haven of classic beauty. The team at Serendipitous Events, are brilliant planners and coordinators, masterfully orchestrated the entire shoot, leaving no detail overlooked.
Our rental company, We’ve Got It Covered, provided a dazzling display of crystal chandeliers to elevate the atmosphere further. Suspended from the ceiling, these glittering fixtures cast a warm, ethereal glow, creating a sense of luxury and sophistication. Modern ceiling draping completed the look, adding a touch of softness and romance.
The day’s magic was captured through the talented lenses of Kadence Cruse Photography, Vanessa Lee Photography, and Blush Film Co. Their artistic vision perfectly translated the essence of old money.
Linen Effects, Revel, Florurish, Epitome Papers, DJ Jer Events, and Prairie Lane created a perfect tabletop that stole the show. They provided everything from luxurious linens to flickering candelabras. The flickering flames cast a warm, inviting light, creating a truly magical ambiance. Additionally, strings of pearls were strategically draped across tables, scattered throughout floral arrangements, and even incorporated into the hanging chandeliers. These subtle details added a touch of refined elegance that perfectly captured the essence of old-money style.
Juniper Rose, a floral designer, brought the space to life with breathtaking arrangements. Greenery + creamy white blooms, accented by touches of pearls.
Stunning Bridal gowns provided by Flutter Bridal Co. were showstoppers that perfectly complemented the aesthetic. JBS Beauty Room and Mindie's Makeup artistry completed the look. Hairstyle was classic and elegant, with beautiful curls. Makeup was flawless accentuating the model's natural beauty.
These combined efforts culminated with a styled shoot that exuded timeless elegance. Each element worked in perfect harmony to create a scene that was both luxurious and understated, a true testament to the power of collaboration and exquisite taste. This shoot is a beautiful reminder that even the simplest details, when thoughtfully curated, can create a truly unforgettable experience.
The final result was a breathtaking display of timeless elegance. Each element worked in perfect harmony to create a space that resonated with a luxurious yet understated beauty. This styled shoot served as a testament to the incredible talent of the vendors involved and a source of inspiration for anyone aiming to capture the essence of the "old money" aesthetic.
Move over, White and ivory! We all know AND LOVE THE CLASSICS, BUT TODAY, WE'RE GETTING ADVENTUROUS WITH A BOLD, BEAUTIFUL, MODERN DESIGN. A color combination that's sure to make a statement and turn heads!
As a wedding decorator, I'm all about creating unforgettable experiences; sometimes, that means pushing the boundaries of tradition. Today, I'm diving into a bold and beautiful trend: modern dark green and black drapery for your ceremony and reception.
Why Drak Green & Black?
This unexpected color combination might raise eyebrows, but trust me, it works! A deep, sophisticated green, exudes elegance and luxury. Black adds a touch of drama and modern edge, perfect for couples who want their wedding to stand out.
The Drapery Drama:
Floor-to-ceiling drapes cascade down, framing your ceremony space or reception hall in a luxurious embrace. Alternate dark green and black panels create a striking visual rhythm, while their folds catch the light and create a sense of intimacy.
Beyond the Basics: Don't just stop at the drapes!
Don't forget the details: Incorporate the color scheme into other aspects of your décor, like cake, centerpieces, and invitations, for a cohesive look.
Linens and napkins: Texture adds depth. Mix smooth fabrics with textured ones like velvet or satin for added visual interest.
Floral arrangements: Incorporate deep green foliage and pops of color for a dramatic touch.
Consider the venue: This bold look will thrive in more extensive, modern spaces with high ceilings.
The Grand Finale: Confetti & Champagne Toast
End with a bang! Raise your glass filled with champagne for a toast amidst the swirling confetti. It's a photo opportunity (and memory) you'll never forget!
Drak green and black modern drapery might not be for the faint of heart, but it's a daring and beautiful choice for couples who crave something unique and unforgettable. So, break the mold and create a wedding that reflects your individuality and style!
I hope this blog has inspired you to consider this bold and beautiful trend for your wedding! And remember, as your wedding vendor, I'm here to help you bring your vision to life, no matter how daring it may be.
We are thrilled to share this gorgeous styled shoot, which is inspired by the beauty of Spring.
Everything about this shoot is STUNNING… don’t get me started on the pastel tones—gorgeous. Every detail in this setup is absolutely perfect, from the exquisite linens, pastel florals, custom stationery, and a breathtaking backdrop that frames the cake. Every element comes together harmoniously and will leave a lasting impression!
Yes, you read that right. This wedding dress was made out of paper, and boy was it incredible.
Let’s just take a minute to pick our jaw up off the floor and admire this work of art. Incredible... Just incredible.
After endless hours of dreaming, brainstorming and designing, this creation came to life. It was handcrafted to perfection with each piece accounted for and hand placed to create such a masterpiece.
This styled shoot began with the unimaginable paper wedding dress and soon transformed into a chic and unique shoot, blooming rich with color.
Knowing we had to match the talent of the incredible paper dress, we researched and designed a backdrop that would not disappoint. Choosing to incorporate the colors of the dress in the backdrop we criss-crossed the burgundy and gave it space to illuminate the depth and feel.
There were so many incredible vendors involved in this project, including Sadie’s Couture Floral. Their ginormous fern arrangements provided the texture, volume, and color that this shoot needed!
I don’t know if another shoot could ever beat this one! I am still in shock of all of the talent involved in making this idea come to life.
